Selected JDIT-K industrial TFT LCD modules provide brightness of 1000 nits or higher for demanding ambient-light applications. Higher-brightness options such as 1200 / 1500 nits are also present in the current catalog for selected models only — not the entire portfolio.

Actual brightness, optical performance, operating conditions, and supported features are defined by each model’s datasheet.

What display brightness means in industrial selection

Brightness (commonly expressed in nits / cd/m²) describes the amount of light a display module can output. Higher brightness can help under strong ambient light, but brightness alone does not guarantee outdoor readability or sunlight-readable performance.

A filter for high ambient light

Outdoor industrial equipment, vehicle / transport systems, and brightly lit sites often start with higher-brightness options. 1000+ nits is a practical engineering filter when comparing high-brightness industrial LCD / TFT LCD candidates.

Brightness ≠ sunlight-readable guarantee

Outdoor readability also depends on reflection, cover glass / touch stack-up, bonding approach, contrast, and ambient conditions. High brightness helps shortlisting — it does not by itself prove sunlight readability.

Evaluate the optical system together

The display module, protective glass, touch, and optical bonding interact on reflection and contrast. Engineering review should follow the model datasheet and system validation — not brightness alone.
